To My Parents

Father

When I was small, you took me by the hand.
Father you should know I finally understand.

You taught me wrong from right, and how to live.
You gave the greatest gift that one could give.

You never let me down, you made me strong.
When I made mistakes, when I was wrong.

Some days we'd laugh, and some days we'd fight.
Somehow you knew one day, I'd say you were right.

You're with me in every word I say, in every hour of every single day.
In all I do, I'm just a part of you.

You lived your life for us, that was your plan.
Those hands that never take, they worked the land.
Hands that never take, can only give.
And because of you, I know how to live.

You're with me in every word I say, in every hour of every single day.
In all I do, I'm just a part of you.

Father just one thing.
You always knew.
Every word you said to me was true.

Kasih Ibu

Kasih ibu,
Kepada beta,
Tak terhingga sepanjang masa.

Hanya memberi,
Tak harap kembali,
Bagai sang surya, menyinari dunia.

I would like to dedicate these beautiful song lyrics to my parents. If we believe in reincarnation then I am sure I have done a lot of good things in my previous lives.

Little Fighter

Are you cryin' tonight ?
Are you feelin' alright ?

I'll tell the world that you were down on your luck.
You were one of the kind, one who would never give in.
Even when they put a price on your head.

Has anyone heard the tales you tell ?
Or seen the scars you wear ?
Did anyone speak up when you fell ?
Does anybody care ?

Rise again little fighter !
And let the world know the reason why !
Shine again little fighter !
And don't let them end the things you do !

And you were one with a cause and a reason to be.
You were a fighter for peace on this earth.
And you were never afraid, you put your life on the line
And you were always alone out on the sea.

Without a weapon in your hand you came to fight a war.
They took your life, but didn't know that you would never die.

Rise again little fighter !
And let the world know the reason why !
Shine again little fighter !
And don't let them end the things you do !

Are you feelin' alright ?
Cause I care, care.

Run along little fighter !
Oh cause I was there beside you, never stop believing.
So rise ! Rise ! RISE !

Rise again little fighter !
And let the world know the reason why !
Shine again little fighter !
And don't let them end the things you do !

Rise again little fighter (Don't stop believing)
And let the world know the reason why
Shine again little fighter (And keep on moving)
And don't 'em end things you do

Yeah, don't let 'em ever end the things you do

Ketika Tangan Dan Kaki Berkata

Akan datang hari,
Mulut dikunci,
Kata tak ada lagi.

Akan tiba masa,
Tak ada suara,
Dari mulut kita.

Berkata tangan kita,
Tentang apa yang dilakukannya,
Berkata kaki kita,
Kemana saja dia melangkahnya.

Tidak tahu kita,
Bila harinya,
Tanggung jawab tiba.

Rabbana,
Tangan kami,
Kaki kami,
Mulut kami,
Mata hati kami,
Luruskanlah,
Kukuhkanlah,
Di jalan cahaya sempurna.

Mohon karunia,
Kepada kami,
HambaMu,
Yang hina.

Star

What cha want to be when you grow up ?
What cha gonna do when your time is up ?
What cha gonna say when things go wrong ?
What cha want to do when you're on your own ?

There's a road long and winding, the lights are blindin' but it gets there.
Don't give up don't look back, there's a silver linin' it's out there somewhere.

Everybody wants an answer, everybody needs a friend, we all need a shinin' star on which we can depend.
N' so tonight we're gonna wish upon a star we never wished upon before (to find what you're looking for).

There'll be times in your life when you' be dancin' n' shit but you ain't gettin it.
But don't get disillusioned, no, don't expect too much.
'cause if what you have is all you can get just keep on tryin'.
It just ain't happened yet.

Everybody wants ta be winner, everybody has a dream, we all need a shinin' star when things ain't what they seem.
So tonight we're gonna wish upon a star we never wished upon before (gotta get where you're headed for).

Everybody wants some kindness, everybody needs a break, we all need a shinin' star when things get hard to take.
So tonight we're gonna wish upon a star we never wished upon before.

We Will Not Go Down

A blinding flash of white light, lit up the sky over Gaza tonight. People running for cover, not knowing whether they're dead or alive. They came with their tanks and their planes, with ravaging fiery flames. And nothing remains, just a voice rising up in the smoky haze;

We will not go down in the night, without a fight !
You can burn up our mosques and our homes and our schools but our spirit will never die !
We will not go down in Gaza tonight !

Women and children alike murdered and massacred night after night, while the so-called leaders of countries afar debated on who's wrong or right. But their powerless words were in vain and the bombs fell down like acid rain, but through the tears and the blood and the pain you can still hear that voice through the smoky haze;

We will not go down in the night, without a fight !
You can burn up our mosques and our homes and our schools but our spirit will never die !
We will not go down in Gaza tonight !

Lilin-lilin Kecil

oh...Manakala mentari tua lelah berpijar.
oh...Manakala bulan nan genit enggan tersenyum, berkerut-kerut tiada terbeseri, tersendat-sendat merayap dalam kegelapan
Hitam kini hitam nanti, gelap kini akankah berganti

Dan kau lilin-lilin kecil,
Sanggupkah kau mengganti,
Sanggupkah kau memberi,
Seberkas cahaya ?

Dan kau lilin-lilin kecil,
Sanggupkah kau berpijar,
Sanggupkah kau menyengat,
Seisi dunia ?

Do You Know Where You're Going To

Do you know where you're going to?
Do you like the things that life is showing you?
Where are you going to? do you know?
Do you get what you're hoping for?
When you look behind you there's no open door
What are you hoping for?
Do you know?

Once we were standing still in time
Chasing the fantasies that filled our minds
You knew i loved you, but my spirit was free
Laughing at the question that you once ask me

Do you know where you're going to?
Do you like the things that life is showing you?
Where are you going to? do you know?

Now, looking back in all we pass
We've let so many dreams just slip through our hands
Why must we wait so long before we see
How sad the answers to those questions can be?

Do you know where you're going to?
Do you like the things that life is showing you?
Where are you going to? do you know?
Do you get what you're hoping for?
When you look behind you there's no open door
What are you hoping for? do you know?

Puing

Perang, perang lagi, semakin menjadi,
Berita ini hari berita jerit pengungsi.

Lidah anjing kerempeng berdecak keras beringas,
Melihat tulang belulang serdadu boneka yang malang.

Tuan, tolonglah tuan, perang dihentikan
Lihatlah ditanah yang basah, air mata bercampur darah

Bosankah telinga tuan mendengar teriak dendam ?
Jemukah hidung tuan mencium amis jantung korban?

Jejak kaki para pengungsi bercengkrama dengan derita,
Jejak kaki para pengungsi bercerita pada penguasa:
Tentang ternaknya yang mati,
Tentang temannya yang mati,
Tentang adiknya yang mati,
Tentang abangnya yang mati,
Tentang ayahnya yang mati,
Tentang anaknya yang mati,
Tentang neneknya yang mati,
Tentang pacarnya yang mati,
Tentang ibunya yang mati,
Tentang istrinya yang mati,
Tentang harapannya yang mati.

Perang, perang lagi
Mungkinkah berhenti bila setiap negara, berlomba dekap senjata ?
Dengan nafsu yang makin menggila, nuklir bagai dewa.
Tampaknya sang jenderal bangga.
Dimimbar dia berkata :
Untuk perdamaian,
Demi perdamaian,
Guna perdamaian,
Dalih perdamaian.

Mana mungkin semua bisa terwujudkan ?
Semua hanya alasan, Semua hanya bohong besar.

Bongkar

Kalau cinta sudah di buang
Jangan harap keadilan akan datang
Kesedihan hanya tontonan
Bagi mereka yang diperkuda jabatan

Oh oh ya oh ya oh ya bongkar
Oh oh ya oh ya oh ya bongkar

Sabar sabar sabar dan tunggu
Itu jawaban yang kami terima
Ternyata kita harus ke jalan
Robohkan setan yang berdiri mengangkang

Oh oh ya oh ya oh ya bongkar
Oh oh ya oh ya oh ya bongkar
Oh oh ya oh ya oh ya bongkar
Oh oh ya oh ya oh ya bongkar

Penindasan serta kesewenang wenangan
Banyak lagi teramat banyak untuk disebutkan
Hoi hentikan hentikan jangan diteruskan
Kami muak dengan ketidakpastian dan keserakahan

Dijalanan kami sandarkan cita cita
Sebab dirumah tak ada lagi yang bisa dipercaya
Orang tua pandanglah kami sebagai manusia
Kami bertanya tolong kau jawab dengan cinta

Oh oh

Oh oh ya oh ya oh ya bongkar
Oh oh ya oh ya oh ya bongkar
Oh oh ya oh ya oh ya bongkar
Oh oh ya oh ya oh ya bongkar

Kok bisa?
Bisa kok!

Jangan Menyerah

Tak ada manusia
Yang terlahir sempurna
Jangan kau sesali
Segala yang telah terjadi

Kita pasti pernah
Dapatkan cobaan yang berat
Seakan hidup ini
Tak ada artinya lagi

Reff 1:
Syukuri apa yang ada
Hidup adalah anugerah
Tetap jalani hidup ini
Melakukan yang terbaik

Tak ada manusia
Yang terlahir sempurna
Jangan kau sesali
Segala yang telah terjadi

Reff 1

Reff 2:
Tuhan pasti kan menunjukkan
Kebesaran dan kuasanya
Bagi hambanya yang sabar
Dan tak kenal putus asa

Kupu-Kupu Malam

Ada yang butuh dirinya
Ada yang berlutut mencintanya
Ada pula yang kejam menyiksa dirinya

Ini hidup wanita si kupu-kupu malam
Bekerja bertaruh seluruh jiwa raga
Bibir senyum kata halus merayu memanja
Kepada setiap mereka yang datang

Dosakah yang dia kerjakan
Sucikah mereka yang datang
Kadang dia tersenyum dalam tangis
Kadang dia menangis di dalam senyuman

Oh apa yang terjadi, terjadilah
Yang dia tahu Tuhan penyayang umatnya
Oh apa yang terjadi, terjadilah
Yang dia tahu hanyalah menyambung nyawa

Oh apa yang terjadi, terjadilah
Yang dia tahu Tuhan penyayang umatnya
Oh apa yang terjadi, terjadilah
Yang dia tahu hanyalah menyambung nyawa

The Journey

Half the world is sleeping,
half the world's awake.
half can hear their hearts beat,
half just hear them break.

I am but a traveler, in most every way
Ask me what you want to know.

What a journey it has been and the end is not in sight.
But the stars are out tonight, and they're bound to guide my way.

When they're shining on my life, I can see a better day.
I won't let the darkness in.
What a journey it has been …

I have been to sorrow,
I have been to bliss.
Where I'll be tomorrow, I can only guess.

Through the darkest desert
Through the deepest snow,
Forward always forward, I go..

What a journey it has been and the end is not in sight.
But the stars are out tonight, and they're bound to guide my way.

When they're shining on my life, I can see a better day.
I won't let the darkness in.
What a journey it has been …

Forward, always forward...
Onward, always up...
Catching every drop of hope in my empty cup.

What a journey it has been and the end is not in sight.
But the stars are out tonight, and they're bound to guide my way.

When they're shining on my life, I can see a better day.
I won't let the darkness in.
What a journey it has been …

What a journey it has been ....

Educations - Cats In The Cradle (Lyric)

My child arrived just the other day;
Came to the world in the usually way
But there were planes to catch and bills to pay.
He learned to walk while I was away.
He was talkin' 'fore I knew it.
And as he grew he said,
"I'm gonna be like you, Dad.
You know I'm gonna be like you."

Chorus :
And the cat's in the cradle and the silver spoon,
Little boy blue and the man on the moon.
"When you comin' home ?"
"Son, I don't know when.
We'll get together then.
You know we'll have a good time then."

Well, my son turned ten just the other day.
He said , "Thanks for the ball, Dad. Come on, let's play.
Could you teach me to throw ?" I said, "Not today.
I got a lot to do." He said, "That's okay."
And he walked away and he smiled and he said,
"You know,
I'm gonna be like him, yeah.
You know I'm gonna be like him."

Chorus

Well, he came from college just the other day,
So much like a man I just had to say,
"I'm proud of you. Could you sit for a while ?"
He shook his head and he said with a smile,
"What I'd really like, Dad, is to borrow the car keys.
See you later. Can I have them please ?"

Chorus :

And the cat's in the cradle and the silver spoon,
Little boy blue and the man on the moon.
"When you comin?home, Son ?"
"I don't know when.
We'll get together then.
You know we'll have a good time then."

I've long since retired, my son's moved away.
I called him up just the other day.
"I'd like to see you, if you dont mind."
He said, "I'd love to, Dad, if I could find the time.
You see my new job's a hassle and the kids have the flu,
But it's sure nice talkin' to you, Dad.
It's been sure nice talkin' to you."

And as I hung up the phone it occurred to me,
He'd grown up just like me.
My boy was just like me.
(Yeah, yeah, yeah)

Chorus

Love - When You Love Someone (Lyric)

When You Love Someone

When you love someone you'll do anything,
you'll do all the crazy things that you can't explain.
You'll shoot the moon, put out the sun,
when you love someone.

You'll deny the truth, believe a lie,
there'll be times that you'll believe you can really fly.
But your lonely nights have just begun
when you love someone.

When you love someone you'll feel it deep inside
and nothing else can ever change your mind.
When you want someone, when you need someone,
when you love someone...

When you love someone you'll sacrifice,
give it everything you got and you won't think twice.
You'll risk it all no matter what may come
when you love someone.
You'll shoot the moon, put out the sun
when you love someone.
