Humans - The Old Days

A religious woman was upset by the behavior of the new generations, "The cause must be the cars. You can see how far they can go on dating nowadays. It was not like that in our time, was it, Grandma?"

The eighty year old woman replied, "Yep, that time we sure would have gone as far as we could."

Educations - Be Just What You Are

The King was present when the "Messiah", composed by Handel, was performed for the first time in London. He felt a great religious feeling when the choir sang the part of "Alleluia" that he rose, out of the tradition, in awe of the great masterpiece performed before him.

Seeing this, the lords rose from their seats following the King. This was a sign for all audiences to stand on their feet.

Since then, it has been a necessity to rise everytime Alleluia is sung. Neglecting the state of being of those who are listening or the quality of performance.

Reaching Enlightenments

The river wonders to those searching for enlightenment, "Do you really have to beat yourselves in order to find enlightenment? Wherever I go, I am home."

Enlightenments - The Grand Conference

Anand was one loyal student of Buddha. Years after the death of Buddha, a grand conference was held for those who were enlightened.

That time, Anand himself had not experienced enlightenment although he had tried for years. So, eventhough we was invited, he had not the right to go to the grand conference.

A day before the grand conference, Anand still had not experienced enlightenment, so he practiced all day long and would not stop until he succeded. He wasted a lot of energy and gained no slightest results for his big efforts.

Dawn came and he decided to stop and take a rest. With no will and greed of enlightenment he relaxed his body. Suddenly, he was enlightened.
