Consciousness - Our High Civilization

"After many centuries, most of us have entered the modern or sophisticated or high civilization with such rapid development and the ability to build flying machines, tele-things, skyscrapers, and able to build our houses in advanced security systems to keep all the burglars and robbers out of our assets. While in some remote areas, where people are stupid, traditional, and primitive, people are sleeping in open houses without any doors, gates or standard security system because none in their surroundings is any threat to their assets."

Prayer - Narada The Wise

Narada had been dedicating his life to God so much that people acknowledged him as the wisest and closest to God of all that the wise man started believing that none in the whole world loves God more than he had been.

God knew and told him "Narada, go to a town near Ganga river. One of my follower is there and living with him will do you good."

Narada went there to find a farmer and lived sometimes with the farmer. The farmer wakes up in the morning, utters God's name once, then carries his plow and goes to his field where he works all day. Only a moment before going to bed at night he utters, once again, God's name. A thought came to Narada's mind "How can this farmer said dedicating to God? Everyday he is too busy with his earthly tasks."

Then God told Narada, "Get a bowl full of milk, carry it around the town then come back here without a single drop less." Narada did what God asked him to do. God asked, "How many times did you remember me as you walk around the town?" which Narada replied, "Not once, how can I do it when I pay full attention to the bowl?"

God said: "The bowl took over your mind that you fully forget about me. But take a look at the farmer who even though responsible to his family remembers about me twice a day?"

Prayer - Prayer to Vishnu

One prayed to

Vishnu:

"God, I plea forgiveness for three huge sins. One for visiting to many of your temples yet forgetting your presence everywhere. Two for crying for help so many times yet forgetting that you, far more than me, prioritize my prosperity. And here I am apologizing when I know that our sins have been been forgiven even before committed."

Prayer - The Disturbed Prayer of The Saint

Saint Bruno felt disturbed that night while praying. The toads, crickets, cicadas, and almost every sound of nature seemed to unite to ruin his prayer and all his efforts to ignore those sounds yielded nothing. So, he walked to the window and cried "Be quiet! I am praying."

Being a saint, his order was obeyed and all living things resisted to make any sound creating silence that is favorable for praying.

But now another noise disturbed the saint's prayer, an inner voice saying "Perhaps God is as happy with those noise as with prayers" "What's good about those sounds in nature for God anyway?" the saint taunted. But the voice persisted, "Why do you think God created voice?"

Bruno wanted to find the reason, so he walked again to the window and cried "Sing!" The toad, cricekets, and all living things started to raised all their voices filling the space. And when Bruno listened attentivelly the sounds were not thatdisturbing anymore. He realised that when he stop rejecting the sounds,it in fact, fulfilled the silence of the night.

Through his realisation, he was enlightened and became balanced with nature. For the first time in his life he understood the meaning of praying.
